Description

The JBL PRX912 12″ Powered Speaker is a compact and versatile speaker in the PRX700 Series. It’s built to deliver top performance for its weight and size. This holds true whether you use it as a stage monitor or a front-of-house main PA. A 12″ Differential Drive low-frequency driver gives low distortion and higher SPL. Meanwhile, a 1.5″ diameter next-generation JBL neodymium compression driver, paired with a JBL-designed waveguide, gives accurate coverage across the room.

With 135dB peak SPL and efficient Class-D amp technology, the PRX912 punches well above its compact size. Additionally, tuned EQ settings for both monitor and front-of-house use mean the speaker performs at its best, no matter which role it’s playing on a given night.

Built for Flexible, Durable Deployment

The multi-angle cabinet works equally well as a floor monitor or a main PA speaker. Therefore, one speaker can cover multiple roles across a single event. This cuts down the amount of gear needed on site. An integrated 36mm pole mount socket with angle-down tilt, along with M10 suspension points, gives further flexibility for ground-stacked or flown setups.

Lightweight poplar plywood cabinets use tongue and groove joints for real structural strength. As a result, the cabinet stays strong without adding extra weight. JBL’s tour-proven DuraFlex finish protects the cabinet through repeated touring use. Cloth-backed, dent-resistant 16-gauge steel grilles also guard the drivers from damage. Finally, an injection-moulded handle with backing cup makes transport easy for crews on a tight changeover.
