Description
The Luminex LumiNode 4 comes housed in an all-metal, robust enclosure. It suits both rack mounting and truss mounting. As a result, it’s a strong fit for touring rigs, theatre and studio AV installs, and live performance setups.
The unit packs 2 x 1Gb EtherCON ports and 4 x 5-pin DMX ports into a half 19″ package. Therefore, it offers real flexibility without taking up a full rack space. An M10 insert and protection ears sit in specially placed positions on the housing. This lets riggers mount the unit safely to any lighting structure, whether on truss or in a rack.

Built for Flexible Protocol Handling
Each DMX port on the LumiNode 4 is fully optically and galvanically isolated. As a result, the unit protects connected gear from electrical faults and interference, even in demanding touring conditions. Every port can also be configured as an input or output, giving further flexibility on site.
The LumiNode 4 supports all relevant industry-standard protocols, including Art-Net, sACN, KiNET, and RTTRpl (Blacktrax). Six onboard process engines handle the processing and conversion between these protocols. Therefore, the unit supports HTP, LTP, Crossfade, Backup, Switch, and Custom merging modes, all with soft patch functionality. This makes the LumiNode 4 a genuinely flexible bridge between different lighting control systems on any production.
