Description
The Allen & Heath AR2412 Stage Box is a 48kHz AudioRack, with 24 XLR inputs and 12 XLR outputs. It’s compatible with Qu, Avantis, and SQ mixers, as well as the AHM-64 audio matrix processor. Therefore, it fits neatly into a wide range of Allen & Heath mixing systems.
Adding an AR2412 to your system lets you position some or all of your I/O up to 100m from the mixer. A single Cat5 cable handles the connection, running Allen & Heath’s dSNAKE protocol. As a result, you get long-distance remote I/O without a heavy multicore snake.

Flexible Remote Control and Expansion
dSNAKE gives you full control over the remote preamp from the mixer position. As a result, all mic preamps stay scene recallable, keeping your workflow consistent between shows. The AR2412 also includes a dedicated Monitor port. This connects directly to ME-1 personal mixers, giving performers independent control over their own monitor mix.
An Expander port rounds out the connectivity. Therefore, you can daisy chain an AR84 or AB168 onto the AR2412 for additional I/O when a show needs more channels than the AR2412 provides on its own.
