Description
The Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 12G wPSU converts in both directions at once. It handles SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SDI simultaneously. This works in any combination of SD, HD or Ultra HD formats, up to 2160p60. Better still, each direction can run a different video standard. As a result, this single unit works like two separate converters.
Multi-rate 12G-SDI input and output connections make this converter compatible with virtually all professional broadcast equipment. This includes level A and B devices. It also automatically detects SD, HD and Ultra HD formats on the fly, so there’s no manual configuration needed on set.
The unit converts HDMI consumer gear to SDI just as easily. For example, you can feed HDMI computers or consumer cameras into 12G-SDI on the input side. Meanwhile, the output lets you monitor on big screen televisions or projectors.
