The Clay Paky Mythos 2 is an outstanding hybrid moving head unit with excellent performance whether used as a spot, wash or beam. The Mythos 2 is a robust unit ideally suited to the rigours of touring and regular rental use, and all of our Mythos 2, when ordered as pairs, are supplied in genuine Clay Paky Roadster flight cases.

The Mythos 2 features a powerful custom designed Osram 440 watt lamp, and produces an outstanding large light beam, featuring a zoom that ranges from 4° to 50° (1:12 ratio) and with a crisp and sharp beam right across its length – from lens to many tens of metres distant.

With smooth, fast and quit movements, alongside fixed and rotating gobos, the Mythos 2 also features an indexed visual effect disc, which may be superimposed on all the gobos, both in and out of focus.

Not just a versatile spot and wash unit, the the Clay Paky Mythos 2 is also an exceptional beam light, allowing you to switch to a minimum fixed beam angle of just 2.5°. In beam mode, a large, very dense, 160 mm-diameter light beam leaves the Mythos’s front lens and remains parallel for its entire length even at considerable distances; perfect for super-defined mid-air effects in large venues, and outdoors when suitably protected.
