Description
The EV RE90HW Cardioid Hanging Choir Mic is a compact hanging-style condenser microphone. It’s ideal for choral, instrumental, vocal groups, and live theatre. Its steady cardioid pickup pattern allows for distant sound pickup without feedback. As a result, it captures a natural, even blend from a group of performers, without needing separate mics on each person.
Key Features
- Hanging installation microphone
- Internal preamp
- Very uniform cardioid polar pattern
- Integrated 25-foot shielded, low-noise cable
Built for Distant, Feedback-Free Pickup
The RE90HW‘s very even pickup pattern keeps sound steady across the coverage area. As a result, it picks up a balanced mix of voices or instruments, even from well above the performers. Therefore, this makes it a strong fit for choirs, ensembles, and theatre shows where close miking on each person isn’t practical.
The built-in 25-foot shielded cable comes with its own preamp. This gives a clean, quiet signal straight from the mic. As a result, setup stays simple, since the cable run and signal boost are already built into the unit. Combined with its compact, low-key hanging design, the RE90HW suits both fixed installs and touring shows alike.
